I'm doing a complete frame off rebuild on my 52, I replace the rear end and added a lowering kit. The rear shock mounts (lower and upper) has me mounting the shocks in front of the rear end. the upper mounts bolt to the frame. Most applications that I see show the shocks mounted in back of the rear end. Is it ok to mount them in front. Will the suspension performance still be good?
