I have been restoring a 34 truck and i had the engine rebuilt by a man in Darby, MT. including re poring babbits. After going thru complete pre starting checklist, priming oil pump, electrical, ensuring gas is in carb. etc. the engine cranks but will not start. A mechanic suggested that new pistons and rings and crank need to be loosened up, so he suggested pulling the plugs and towing the truck in high gear. Any suggestions?
