I am a serious hubcap collector and it is rare for something to stump me but this one is proving difficult to identify. I bought these 2 hubcaps and have researched and found nothing. The cap structure is a steel backing with a brass overlay that is plated which is common for most OEM dogdish caps from the 1930's through 50's era. So they are not aftermarket or replacements. The logo in the middle is a simple dash type box painted red (Refer to picture). The dimensions of them are identical to a late 40's Chevrolet truck dogdish caps that would normally say "Chevrolet" across the face, also with red paint. My best guess thus far from what I have learned over many years of collecting is that these may be off of a Canadian manufactured GM truck of some sorts. If anyone has any definite info or any other thoughts, it would be greatly appreciated!
