I recently replaced my 283 for a hot 327 engine in my 57 chevy truck. On my headers, the passenger side hits a cross brace that used to hold the back of the engine up but i shave off some so my exhaust would bolt right. On my driver side header, it fits REAL tight against the steering box. Is this bad for the box or will it ruin anything thats in there from the heat?
