Earlier this week my roommate and I went and picked up what we thought was a 1948 6 cylinder 4 speed Chevy 1.5 ton flatbed dually that had sat for a couple years . As I have looked into it more since then and found that according to the Vin its a 2 ton truck and at some time someone put a newer 235 in it instead of the 216 I thought it had as well as changing it to a 12 volt system (wiring is a mess). The engine is free so hopefully I can clean it up and get it going this weekend. The only problem I have right now is that there is no key for it I haven't looked at it to much but I'm sure between my dad and forums online I should be able to figure it out.
