I am wondering where I can find or if someone knows on these the production numbers and what was available this year. I found a factory 396 powered truck and was wondering how rare this was and also if you could get one in a short bed, this one is long bed.

I too am doing a resto mod on a 68...and shortening to a step side short box...just bought 396 for it as well...which was the upgrade for this truck...avaible was the 307 and the 327 with the 396 upgrade...and could only assume that they didn t discriminate on size...lol............I myself am trying to find out how big the bed is on the step side long box and the step side short box
