I'm new at this...just bought myself a project for the summer..a 1947-51 Chev/GMC pickup. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to find out the actual age of the truck and where I can get an ownership for it. I have the vin plate. I asked at the motor vehicles and they told me to try heritage sites. I'd appreciate any help you can give me... thanks..Dan

first digit will be the year , or add a few pics of your truck , mainly driver side cab section.
