1949 Chevy Truck Keeping it as original as poss.

Have already swapped engine for 250 6 cyl. out of a chevy nova. Still have three on the tree.
Thinking of installing rebuilt steering box and gear assembly. Lots of play in steering. Is it possible to have a front clip, with power steering and disc brakes and keep the original steering wheel and column?? Thanks

I HAVE A BRAND NEW 1948-53 CHEVROLET TAILGATE THAT WAS TAKEN OFF MY GRANDFATHERS PICKUP THE DAY THAT HE BOUGHT IT. IT HAS THE HANGERS AND THE RUBBER COVERED CHAINS, AND SOME LIGHT SURFACE RUST ON ONE END WHERE IT SAT UPRIGHT IN THE GARAGE FOR MANY YEARS.
