Best kit price for '53 wood bed

I'm looking for the best price on a wood bed kit for my '53 Chevy 1/2 ton 3100 short box. While I know the bed was originally painted black, staining the wood is one modification I'd like to make.

Prices seem to be all over the place and I'd sure appreciate your thoughts!

The change you propose may look good, but it will degrade the value of the truck, if you are rebuilding to original specs. The wood specified by Chevy is Yellow Pine primed and painted to match the original truck color. Chester
