I have added two new boards to our forum. 1) Spitfire Grill: This board is for us to gather and talk, introduce ourselves. Unlimited conversations but please make it clean. 2) Members Builds: Show off you projects.

Hey Lonnied, Welcome aboard. According to the LMC catalog the small washer like ones go in the fender side bottom of the door, the other ones go in the jam side on the bottom. It is I disagreeumtion that the different sizes are to aid in a proper fit of the door to the jam. Take some pics of your progress and share them on the build area of our forum. Thanks for joining and good luck with the build

Is it possible to have a "3100" Truck with a J54 VIN#?. My truck has 116" wheel base, 6 lug rear end, 3100 hood? If so , or not how could I prove it is?

I am trying to post and I not sure how. I need a cross member that the back of the engine mounts to. PO must have cut out to put a longer 235 in. Its for a 1951 chevy truck.

I would like to see a 'What fits What' section! Have a 63 with a 73+ stepside bed. Have the correct fenders and running boards and want to mount them to the later box section. Don't mind drilling if holes don't match but is it even possible?

Well, I going for it advice or not! The used fenders and running boards I found were $300 and there is no rust through anywhere! The only difference I could find on the box sections was that the old style box has a 90 degree flange where the running board mounts so some sort of adapter is in order. I think a flat plate will work. I'm sure the fender mount holes won't line up but can drill new ones and stainless bolts to plug the others should work. This is a rodded truck so restoration to original is not the goal.
