I just purchased a '52 Chevy 3800 over July 4th weekend. It has a 4-spd on the floor. I drove it home from the seller's house which is about a 50-mile drive. It shifted fine. I drove it around the yard a couple of times during the next few weeks and it shifted fine. I went to drive it a couple of weeks ago - after sitting nearly 3 months - and it would not shift into gear. It was as if I didn't even have the clutch depressed. I checked the trans fluid and it is full.
Any idea(s) as to what may have happened? Thanks, BP
